“Me, the Film Worker”

Lecture by Lee Kang-Sheng
Lee Kang-sheng has received recognition for his acting, winning the Best Actor Award at the 2002 Cinemanila International Film Festival for What Time Is It There? He was nominated for a Golden Horse Award in 1994 for Vive L’Amour.
Lee won several awards with his directorial debut, The Missing. At the 2004 Rotterdam International Film Festival, he won the KNF Award, the NETPAC Award, and the Tiger Award. The film also won the New Currents Award at the 2004 Pusan International Film Festival, a special mention at the Ljubljana International Film Festival, and the City of Athens Award at the Athens International Film Festival.
His second directorial effort, Help Me Eros in 2007, was nominated for a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. It won a special jury award at the 2007 World Film Festival of Bangkok.

The lecture will share Lee’s transition from an actor to a filmmaker and how he continued the creation of non-commercial driven works over the decades.
李康生從影生活
講座第二部分，邀請電影工作者李康生講與蔡明亮導演對談，分享最新作品「你的臉」的表演挑戰，以及發現自己中風後而抱病繼續表演，他學習重新面對自己的身體與人生得心路歷程。李康生，是一位台灣電影工作者，在所有蔡明亮執導的劇情長片中皆有他的演出。2003年開始嘗試執導第一部電影《不見》，即入圍金馬獎最佳劇情片；2007年自編、自導、自演的電影《幫幫我愛神》入選第六十四屆威尼斯影展正式競賽片。2013年以《郊遊》獲得第50屆金馬獎、第56屆亞太影展以及隔年的台北電影獎最佳男主角獎。
